Tom Brady Recently Reassured Fans Duals Roles as NFL Analyst & Team Owner Won’t Cause a Conflict
The 7-time Super Bowl champ wears many hats, and his job as an NFL TV analyst for Fox has raised alarm with some fans who are concerned that his insider access might give an unfair advantage to the Las Vegas Raiders, of which Brady owns a 5% stake, per NFL.com. But the 48-year-old says this isn’t the case.
CNN says Brady was previously restricted from pre-game production meetings with players and coaches in the interest of fairness, but those limitations were lifted as of the 2025 season, when the former quarterback began being allowed to remotely attend the huddles. He was even seen on TV wearing a headset that allowed him to hear what Los Angeles Chargers coaches were saying as they played the Raiders.

Brady then spoke out in his newsletter, The 199, to reassure fans that he places the utmost emphasis on fair play, stating, “I love football. At its core it is a game of principles. And with all the success it has given me, I feel I have a moral and ethical duty to the sport; which is why the point where my roles in it intersect is not actually a point of conflict, despite what the paranoid and distrustful might believe. Rather, itâs the place from which my ethical duty emerges: to grow, evolve, and improve the game that has given me everything.â
