Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas have split after nine months of dating, it is reported.
The 63-year-old Top Gun actor and the Blonde actress, 37, never out-right confirmed their relationship, but were spotted unsubtly walking hand-in-hand together, and leaving David Beckham’s 50th birthday bash earlier this year together.
But it’s now reported the relationship has run its course, while the two Hollywood stars remain pals.
‘Tom and Ana had a good time together but their time as a couple has run its course,’ a source told The Sun.
‘They are going to remain good friends but they aren’t dating anymore. They just realised they weren’t going to go the distance and that they are better off as mates.
‘The spark had gone between them but they still love each other’s company and they’ve both been really adult about it.
‘She’s already been cast in his next film, so they will continue to work together.’
The pair were due to star together in supernatural thriller Deeper, as they were spotted rehearsing in London, but that project is now reportedly on pause.
The Knives out star was quizzed about working with Tom on a new project back in May on Good Morning America.
‘And I hear you’re working with another big star, he’s a stunt master himself, Tom Cruise,’ interviewer Michael Strahan began. ‘On another project that’s gonna lead you to do some other crazy stunts?’
‘What do you think?’, Ana replied, bursting out laughing.
‘You didn’t get enough with Ballerina? You’re asking for more?’, joked the host.
‘It’s so much fun,’ Ana said of taking on various risky challenges in the world of action movies.
‘We’re definitely working on a lot of things, not just one, but a few projects, with (directors) Doug Liman and Christopher McQuarrie,’ Ana said of Tom, adding: ‘And I’m so excited.’
Romance rumours first began in February when the pair were seen dining together in a London restaurant, reportedly alongside their agents, who insisted the meeting was professional.
At the time, a source described the atmosphere as ‘friendly, not flirty.’ But that tune quickly changed as Cruise and de Armas were spotted together again, from birthday parties to park strolls and even a yacht trip in Spain.
Their most high-profile cameo came just days before the Vermont trip, when the duo were seen at Wembley Stadium enjoying Oasis’ reunion concert.

While Tom was famously previously married to a string of stars – Mimi Rogers from 1987 to 1990, Nicole Kidman from 1990 to 2001, and Katie Holmes from 2006 to 2012 – he’s kept his private life away from the spotlight.
‘She knows why, and I know why,’ Tom told Vanity Fair in October 2001 of his and Kidman’s divorce. ‘I think that you just move on. And I don’t say that lightly. I don’t say that with anything. Things happen in life, and you do everything you can, and in every possible way, and there’s a point at which you just sometimes have to face the brutal reality.’
Tom has three children – Bella Cruise, 32, and Connor Cruise, 30, who he and Nicole Kidman adopted after fertility struggles, as well as Suri Cruise, who he welcomed with Katie.

Meanwhile, Ana – who starred in No Time To Die as a Bond girl – was married to Spanish actor Marc Clotet from 2011 to 2013.
She also dated Ben Affleck for two years from 2019, with a source telling Page Six: ‘[Ben] would not commit to having more kids. She is in her 30s. It was a deal breaker.’
