Travis Kelce has made a surprising confession about his relationship with Taylor Swift, revealing the pair have never fallen out.
In the latest episode of his podcast, New Heights, Kelce, 36, chatted to guest George Clooney about his relationship with Amal Clooney.
The actor, 64, has previously revealed that he has never had an argument with his wife, and turned the line of questioning back to Travis and his relationship with Taylor.
‘No, I’m not lying, Clooney insisted about his marriage of 10 years. ‘Travis, shall we ask you the same questions?’
Kelce laughed and replied: ‘Well, it’s only been two and a half years, and you’re right. I haven’t gotten into an argument. Never once.’
The couple has been very private about their relationship, so this was a surprising confession from the American football player.
Kelce, 36, and Swift, 35, have been engaged since late August and were first open about their relationship to the public in September 2023.
Since this time have supported one another at football games and tour dates, but have only revealed a few tidbits about their relationship.
In a sweet moment while appearing on Kelce’s podcast, Taylor said of her relationship: ‘I love this new world that Travis has shown me. It’s so fun. It’s so exciting.’
She then turned to him and said: ‘You manifested it. You summoned me – here I am.’
She also reflected on how they met, which happened after Travis complained on his podcast that he didn’t get to meet her at the Eras Tour and give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it.
‘He threw a man tantrum,’ she joked. ‘It was such a wild, romantic gesture to just be like, “I wanna date you!” This dude didn’t get a meet-and-greet and he made it everyone’s problem.
‘He didn’t even reach out to our management,’ she said, revealing Travis thought he’d be allowed backstage because he ‘knows the elevator lady.’
On the podcast, while chatting to Kelce, George continued to reflect on his relationship’s lack of fights.
‘Neither of us are gonna win the argument, so why get in? Dude, I’m 64 years old. And what am I gonna argue about at this point? You know?
‘I’ve met this incredible woman that is, she’s beautiful and smart, and she stands for all the most important things that I believe in in the world. And I can’t believe how lucky I am. So what am I going to fight about?’
This was doubling down on his previous statement earlier this year.
During a sit-down with Gayle King on CBS Mornings in April, he said: ‘Amal and I are having a really great time in life,’ he told the host. ‘Our kids are seven, about to be eight, which is a pretty great age. They’re really curious and funny. Every parent thinks their kids are great – our kids are funny, and make us laugh.
‘We were here with you once before and I remember we said we’d never had an argument. We still haven’t. We’re trying to find something to fight about!’
