Made In Chelsea star Ollie Locke is making an unexpected return to the Channel 4 show just one year after quitting.

The 37-year-old is one of the original members of the constructed relity programme which started airing more than a decade ago in 2011.

However, last year Ollie announced he and his husband Gareth Locke were saying farewell to Made In Chelsea to concentrate on a new venture.

They decided to launch a YouTube series documenting their first foray into parenthood after welcoming twins Apollo and Cosima via surrogate.

But now the married couple have made a U-turn and will re-join the cast of MIC for its upcoming season.

Ollie told The Sun: ‘Myself and Gareth have been so excited to come back to Chelsea and show everyone how life has changed after becoming dads to the twins.

‘We were so overwhelmed with support going through our IVF journey on the show that we felt it only right to give everyone an insight into our life as parents.

‘As expected, it’s an adventure.’

Ollie and Gareth are not the only Made In Chelsea cast members returning with Sophie Hermann also announcing her comeback after ‘years of public demand.’

The 37-year-old told The Sun she would be sharing her new beauty and fashion ventures and her anti-ageing secrets on the show.

Explaining their decision to quit Made In Chelsea in 2023, Ollie said they had ‘outgrown’ the show as they head down a ‘completely different path.’

‘Made in Chelsea is about young people making up and breaking up. We’re very much the dads of it all,’ Gareth previously told The Sun.

‘It came the time for something new and for us to have something we have control over.’

Last August, Ollie and Gareth welcomed Cosima and Apollo via a surrogate whose name is Rebecca ‘Bex’ Ward.

After they were born, the babies spent weeks in intensive care, with the couple saying on their YouTube channel it had been a ‘scary time’.

Cosima and Apollo were then discharged and taken home by Ollie and Gareth after being treated in neonatal intensive care.

Six weeks later Ollie announced their arrival on social media, writing: ‘We are so excited to announce that our beautiful twins are finally here and they are more precious than we could have ever imagined.’

Made In Chelsea is available to watch on demand on Channel 4.
