Vick Hope has revealed she’s pregnant with her first child with husband Calvin Harris.
The BBC Radio 1 presenter, 35, has been married to Scottish DJ Calvin, 41, since September 2023.
The couple are largely very private, but the expectant mum decided to share the exciting news of their upcoming arrival live on air.
Speaking on Radio 1 today Vick, who hosts the drivetime show Going Home with Vick, Katie and Jamie with Katie Thistleton and Jamie Laing, revealed her pregnancy publicly for the first time.
‘I should say that this is my final week. I wanted to share that with you because we’ve had such a lovely time over the last few weeks. That time is coming to an end for a bit because I’m going on maternity leave next week,’ she said.
Her co-host Jamie then jumped in, adding: ‘You’re an amazing friend, an amazing person, and you’re just going to be an amazing mum.’

‘Oh, thank you,’ she replied.
After being probed by Jamie about being famously private, Vick later explained she didn’t want to make a huge deal of sharing the news: ‘This is not an announcement, by the way. People keep saying are you going to announce, are you going to announce? And I’m like, I’m not the King.
‘I do not see the point, it’s not for me. I’ll be honest, I struggle with anything that’s personal or private. I will tell you a story about eating a kebab out of a bin, that’s one thing. But there’s a line and so I’ve never been that big on sharing. Particularly because I’ve just been enjoying this privately and quietly.’
She went on to explain that she struggled sharing details about her private life as there was a ‘bit of a line’ and she wanted to enjoy the news with her husband and their loved ones.
In recent months Vick sparked pregnancy rumours after being photographed with a visible bump.
A few weeks ago, she also appeared to celebrate her baby shower, posting a photo on social media playing a baby shower game during a meal with friends.
After many fans pointed out her bump, she was also met with many messages of support from celebrity friends. At the time, Lisa Snowdon said, ‘Congratulations darling. So happy for you both’, while Elizabeth Day wrote: ‘Congratulations. You look RADIANT AF.’
Vick and Calvin started dating in 2022 and went public that May at the Chelsea Flower Show.

Months later, he proposed on his Ibiza farm after splashing out £1 million on her engagement ring.
The following year they married in an outdoor ceremony at Hulne Priory in Alnwick, Northumberland.
The inspiration for the big day was Glastonbury – with food stands and teepees reportedly dotted around the grounds.

Plenty of celebrity guests were also in attendance, including Big Brother host AJ Odudu and radio presenters Vernon Kay and Scott Mills.
Vick had previously spoken about being asked out by her now-husband in 2007 – but she turned him down.
‘It’s something that we laughed about on our first proper date,’ she told You Magazine in 2023. ‘We still laugh about it now.’
When asked about her wedding plans in 2022, she told Hello: ‘You know what, I was very overwhelmed by the interest in it, but I’m keeping my private life private. I’ve never really experienced this before about my private life, but it’s just for us.’
