Vicky Pattison has shared a glimpse of the painful injuries she has obtained while undergoing training for Strictly Come Dancing.
The Geordie Shore star, 37, was the eleventh contestant to be announced, joining EastEnders star Balvinder Sopal, Doctor Who’s Alex Kingston and model Ellie Goldstein on the all-star line-up.
With her first day of training having already commenced, Vicky likened the experience so far to being ‘hit by a car,’ before sharing a snap of her bashed-up feet.
In a Before vs After picture post to her Instagram account, Vicky wrote: ‘Our first @bbcstrictly rehearsal… The start of the day versus… the end 😂🤦🏻♀️💃🏼🪩’
The first of two pictures depicted a cheerful Vicky beaming from inside a car, ready to begin her day. The second showed her looking exhausted after a full day of training.

‘It certainly was a baptism of fire lands… that’s for sure!’ the one-time I’m a Celebrity… winner joked.

Vicky’s Instagram post continued: ‘If I was doubting my ability before.. then I REALLY am now!!!
‘Dancing is SO HARD! No wonder those pros are all drop dead gorgeous 😂😂😂 I feel like I’ve been hit by a car and I’ve already got blisters.. WTF??? 😂 A serious new found appreciation for everyone who’s ever taken part!
‘BUT… what an amazing day, the team are incredible, the celebs are so wonderful and the pros are an absolute joy.. 🤩
She finished: ‘If I hang around long enough… I think I’ll really love my new family 😂😍✨ I’m off to think about my life choices and apologise to all the fellas I stepped all over today! 😂🤦🏻♀️’

In other images to her Instagram account, Vicky shared a snap of her swollen and blistered heel.
‘And so it begins,’ read the caption to Vicky’s foot pic.
This comes days after Strictly professional Nadiya Bychkova suffered a nasty fall during training, injuring her back.
However, she was quick to reassure fans that she would be fighting fit for the upcoming series of Strictly, posting on Instagram: ‘I just wanted to let you know that I had another scan today – just to check things over – and some more physio from the Strictly team, and I’ll be back on that dancefloor tomorrow.’

On joining Strictly Come Dancing, Vicky told This Morning: ‘I’m absolutely buzzing to be part of this year’s Strictly Come Dancing lineup… but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t terrified.
‘I am not a natural dancer! However, it’s such an amazing opportunity for me to step out of my comfort zone and to challenge myself in a completely new way, and I just really hope I don’t make too much of a fool of myself!’

Vicky’s Instagram post was flooded with messages of support from her reality TV peers, with Strictly professional Julian Caillon writing: ‘You smashed it today!’
‘Can’t wait to watch you dance now ❤️’ said Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt.
‘The best day,’ commented fellow Strictly 2025 contestant and professional daughter of Danny Dyer, Dani Dyer.
Strictly pro Karen Hauer also wrote: ‘Let’s go babe !! You got this!! 🙌’ while Jowita Przystał said: ‘Awww you smashed it today ♥️’

This is hardly Vicky’s first stint on competitive reality TV.
In 2015, she became Queen of the Jungle on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! before also appearing on Celebrity MasterChef and Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.
With the full Strictly line-up having been revealed, bookies have already begun taking odds on who might lift the Glitterball trophy when all is said and done.
