Victoria Beckham has paid loving tribute to her husband David as the former England international footballer reaches the big 5-0.
The pair have been married since 1999, having tied the knot when David was playing for Manchester United and Victoria was still in the Spice Girls.
Having been in the spotlight for their entire married life, there has been renewed interest in them as a couple ever since the release of the Netflix documentary Beckham.
Now Victoria, 51, has celebrated David by taking to Instagram and dedicating a special post to the father of her four children and her husband of 26 years.
Posting a video gallery of moments from David’s life, both private and public, Victoria left a sweet accompanying caption that warmed the hearts of her 32.9 million followers.
‘When I look at this video, I think, “Wow… how lucky am I?”,’ she began, adding: ‘You’re everything I could have dreamed of and more. Happy 50th David. I love you and our beautiful family endlessly. You complete me.’
In the video, there were also snaps of their relationship down the years, from when they were a young couple, from when they were new parents, and from more recent years too.
Commenting on the video, Spice Girls fan group SpiceGirlsNet referred to David as ‘the original Spice Boy’ and wished him a happy birthday.
Author Loren Ridinger sent her love, saying: ‘I love you all so much. This is just exactly how you are. Beautiful. Happy birthday. David, you are amazing.’
Gary Neville, one of David’s former teammates at Manchester United, paid tribute to the former Real Madrid and PSG player as well, with a touching post.
‘Happy 50th mate,’ he began. ‘Stand still today for once and reflect on everything you have achieved and done in these first 50 years of your life.

‘We’ve won, lost, laughed and cried but had the most incredible times together. I can still see our mums and dads in the crowd. Everything you’ve done has come through humility, care and hard work.
He continued: ‘I’m proud of you and more importantly trust you with my life. All my love to you.’
On Thursday, Victoria had pre-empted the birthday celebrations by sharing a video of them dancing to the Bee Gees-penned Islands in the Stream by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers.
In that caption, she wrote: ‘My best friend, soul mate and dance partner for life. Like the song says – we start and end as one, in love forever, we can ride it together, ah ha. I love you.’
Victoria’s messages come after Inter Miami co-owner David staged a lavish black tie celebrity party at the family’s home in the Cotswolds.

Guests dressed up for the night in tuxedos and fancy balls gowns before being treated to cocktails and, reportedly, short drives in expensive supercars.
It’s been claimed that, later on in the evening, some guests were left soaking after deciding to jump into the Beckham family pool in the large garden.
One of the guests to offer a glimpse into the what the party was like was David and Victoria’s youngest son Cruz, who attended with his partner Jackie Apostel, 29.
The birthday celebrations are set to continue on Friday night as well, with David apparently down as one of the guests of honour at Core – a three-star Michelin restaurant in Notting Hill.
His family are set to attend alongside celebrity friends including Tom Cruise and some of David’s former Manchester United teammates from down the years.
