Victoria Beckham’s Daughter Celebrates Birthday & Celebrities Flood with Tributes

Victoria Beckham and David Beckham are celebrating a milestone close to her heart. On July 10, the fashion designer and proud mom marked her daughter Harper’s 14th birthday by sharing a moving collection of throwback photos and videos that trace her journey from playful toddler to confident teen.

The carousel of photos included a black-and-white photo of a pregnant Victoria, Harper as a toddler trying on her mom’s heels, and clips of her dancing ballet, playing the flute, and singing Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” in her school uniform.

“You’re My Everything”: Victoria’s Emotional Message

Alongside the visual memories, Victoria penned a heartfelt birthday message to her youngest child.

“Happy birthday to my world,” she wrote. “You are my everything and I’m so proud of the strong, confident, kind and talented young lady you are becoming. You’re my best friend and I’m so lucky I get to be your mummy. We love you so so much Harper Seven. Enjoy your special day.”

She also tagged her husband, David Beckham, 50, who shares Harper and three sons — Brooklyn, 26, Romeo, 22, and Cruz, 20 — with Victoria.

The sweet tribute didn’t go unnoticed. Celebrity friends flooded the comments with birthday wishes, including Kim Kardashian, who wrote, “Happy Birthday sweet Harper,” and Helena Christensen, who commented, “Such a beautiful spirit 💖 happy birthday to your girl 💞.”

Harper’s older brother, Romeo, shared his birthday message via Instagram Stories, writing: “Happy 14th to the most amazing human there is. Love you always and forever.”

In an interview with Elle UK, published in May 2017, Victoria opened up about raising Harper to focus on kindness and hard work, not just looks or perfection.

“I say to her, ‘Harper, it’s not who’s the prettiest girl in the class, it’s not even who is the smartest girl in the class, it’s who is the nicest and most hard-working girl in the class,’” she said. “I don’t like her to focus too much on her appearance.”

Harper was born on July 10, 2011, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, weighing 7 pounds, 10 ounces. Shortly after her birth, David Beckham revealed the story behind her name.

“Victoria’s favorite book is To Kill a Mockingbird,” he shared in a Facebook video, as per a report in People. “The author was Harper Lee, and that’s where Harper came from.”
