In a video that was posted on Instagram by People on August 29, you can see Clooney being playful with his co-star. He borrows a camera from the paparazzi at the event and aims it toward Sandler, who is standing on the red carpet next to actress Laura Dern. Sandler poses for the picture with a serious facial expression while Dern and Clooney laugh.
Clooney then gives the camera back to the photographer and rejoins the group with a grin on his face. In addition to Sandler and Clooney, the cast also includes Dern, who was joined by her adult daughter, Jaya Harper; Emily Mortimer, who attended with her teenage daughter; actress May Nivola; and Billy Crudup, Riley Keough, and Grace Edwards.
Sandler attended the event with his family. He posed for photos alongside his wife, Jackie Sandler, and their teenage daughters, Sadie, 19, and Sunny, 16. Sadie wore a black maxi dress that complemented her dadâs black suit, while Sunny opted for a white halterneck style gown that complemented her motherâs white gown.
Clooney was joined by his wife, Amal Clooney, who looked incredible in a purple dress.
