VIDEO: Kelly Osbourne & Sid Wilson Are Engaged

Kelly Osbourne and Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson became engaged on July 5 during a very special event. Wilson proposed to Osbourne backstage at her father Ozzy Osbourne’s farewell show with his band Black Sabbath. 

The moment was captured in a video that Osbourne posted to her Instagram with the caption, “Oh and this happened yesterday!” In the clip, Wilson takes a hoodie-clad Osbourne by the hand, telling her how much he loves her. Ozzy chimes in, jokingly saying, “[expletive] off, you’re not marrying my daughter.”

The group, including Sharon Osbourne and Jack Osbourne, enjoy a good laugh before a hush comes over the crowd and Wilson gets down on one knee, presenting a ring and asking, “Kelly, will you marry me?” 

Osbourne looks around in disbelief before saying yes and enveloping her new fiancé in a giant hug.

Osbourne & Wilson Were Friends for Decades Before Dating

The former “Dancing With the Stars” contestant and her man first met in 1999 when Wilson’s band Slipknot played Ozzfest, a heavy metal music festival launched by Osbourne’s parents. The pair became close friends and stayed that way for decades before they began dating in January of 2022.

A month later, in honor of their first Valentine’s Day as a couple, Osbourne took to Instagram to gush over her new relationship. 

“After 23 years of friendship I can’t believe where we have ended up!” she wrote alongside a sweet pic of her and Wilson kissing. “You are my best friend, my soulmate and I am so deeply in love with you Sidney George Wilson.”

Osbourne & Wilson’s Happy Family

In November of 2022, Osbourne and Wilson welcomed their first child together, a son named Sidney. The former reality star wanted to keep her family life private, including not sharing her baby’s name. But her mom, Sharon, couldn’t contain herself and blurted it out during an episode of the U.K. version of “The Talk.” 

Osbourne was too in love with her new addition to stay mad at her mother for long. “I’m a mom now, I love it. It’s the best thing that has ever happened to me,” the singer shared with E! News. 

And it looks as though Osbourne and Wilson’s family life is already as sweet as can be. In May, Osbourne shared a video on Instagram featuring 2-year-old Sidney super excited that his dad had come home. Sidney is shown running over to give Wilson a hug while Osbourne is happily saying “Daddy’s back!”
