Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes pose on the red carpet

Kansas City Chiefs superstars Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes are trading touchdowns for T-bones this summer. The tight end and quarterback are opening 1587 Prime, their own upscale steakhouse at the Loews Kansas City Hotel. The duo is partnering with Noble 33 and is currently hiring for key roles to bring their vision of an accessible yet classy dining experience to life. For fans who want to work for Kelce and Mahomes, this is their chance.

Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes Are Bringing 1587 Prime to Kansas City

Kelce and Mahomes’ new restaurant, 1587 Prime, is an immersive, upscale dining experience that welcomes guests “to indulge in an unparalleled culinary journey.” Located at the Loews Kansas City hotel at 1515 Wyandotte St., the restaurant is a partnership between the athletes and Noble 33, and it covers nearly 10,000 square feet across two floors.

“Travis and I have become frequent visitors of Noble 33 restaurants in other cities, so it only made sense to bring something special to our own community in Kansas City,” Mahomes said in a company release.

Kelce added, “[It’s] just another thing that we want to bring to Kansas City, to be able to show our appreciation for the city, knowing how much they love their food and how much they love their football.”

In addition to steak, Mahomes said there will also be a cheeseburger on the menu named for Chiefs head coach Andy Reid. The QB said they didn’t want to make the steakhouse “too upscale” and have such high prices that not everybody could go.

The Kansas City Chiefs Superstars Are Looking For an Executive Chef

According to a new job posting, 1587 Prime is hunting for an executive chef with at least seven years of experience. The salary for this full-time position is between $90K and $110K. The chef will work closely with operations, and is responsible for the overall quality of all food items.

Other job responsibilities include controlling COGS, training and overseeing the employees in the back of the house, and ensuring company standards. The Executive Chef will also be responsible for seasonal specials and menu changes, collaborating with the Sous Chef, and touching base with guests to “wow” them.

Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes Have More Positions To Fill

In addition to the Executive Chef position, Kelce and Mahomes are also hiring an Operations Manager and a Bar Manager.

The Operations Manager is a pivotal role that reports to the General Manager and pays between $55K and $90K. Responsibilities include hiring, training, and scheduling staff, plus boosting sales and managing costs. Candidates need three to five years in management, ideally in upscale hospitality, and a knack for creating “engaging and dynamic” guest experiences.

With private dining rooms and football-themed decor like a stadium tunnel entrance, the role demands leadership to match the restaurant’s bold vibe. Applications are open through Noble 33’s job portal, promising growth in a fast-paced setting.

For cocktail enthusiasts, the bar manager position offers an annual salary of $70K–$80K. It also requires strong knowledge of spirits, wines, and cocktails. The manager oversees inventory, staff schedules, and beverage costs, ensuring every drink aligns with 1587 Prime’s upscale standards. With three to five years of full-service restaurant management experience, candidates will lead a team in a venue boasting one of Missouri’s largest wine collections.
