<p id=”par-1_54″>The Plath family is getting a fresh start. After a tumultuous few years, the stars of <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/tlc/?swcfpc=1https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/tlc/?swcfpc=1″>TLC</a>’s <em>Welcome to Plathville </em>are looking to put past conflicts behind them and focus on the future. That includes Olivia Plath, who is jumping into the dating pool for the first time after her <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/welcome-to-plathville-stars-ethan-olivia-plath-separated-months-announcing-split.html/”>split from Ethan Plath</a>. </p>
<p id=”par-2_32″>“Dating after marrying the first guy that you ever even held hands with is wild,” she says in a trailer (via <a href=”https://x.com/TLC/status/1801292034348576919″>X</a>) for <em>Welcome to Plathville </em>Season 6, which premieres July 16. </p>

Now, Olivia is tentatively starting to date. But it looks like she might have to kiss some frogs before she finds her prince charming. </p>
<p id=”par-4_20″>“If you had one night with me, what would you want to do?” a sunglasses-wearing suitor asks a skeptical-looking Olivia. </p>
<p id=”par-5_15″>Olivia’s ex Ethan is also putting himself out there. But he’s somewhat unsure of himself. </p>
<p id=”par-6_12″>“It’s intimidating a little bit, to approach a beautiful woman,” he says. </p>

<p id=”par-7_24″>Despite the challenges of dating, neither Ethan nor Olivia seems inclined to revisit their past romance. The wounds from their breakup are still raw. </p>
<p id=”par-8_15″>“Between me and your family, you were going to pick your family,” Olivia tells Ethan. </p>
<p id=”par-9_8″>“That’s because you made me choose,” he replies. </p>
<p id=”par-10_22″>Later, Ethan tells Olivia that he doesn’t understand how she “can move on so easily” after all the time they spent together.</p>
<p id=”par-11_7″>“Who said it was easy?” she responds. </p>
<p id=”par-12_23″>Olivia also meets up with her former <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/welcome-to-plathville-moriah-plath-kids-parents.html/”>sister-in-law Moriah Plath</a>. The two were once close but had a major falling out last season. </p>
<p id=”par-13_12″>“I hope you know I really did love your brother,” Olivia says. </p>
<p id=”par-14_5″>“I know,” Moriah says softly. </p>

<p id=”par-15_40″>The trailer also teases exciting developments for the other members of the Plath family. Ethan’s younger brother Micah Plath has moved to Florida and has a new girlfriend. But he’s unsure if he wants to go public with the relationship. </p>
<p id=”par-16_19″>Meanwhile, <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/welcome-to-plathville-season-5-barry-kim-plath-divorcing.html/”>Kim Plath and Barry Plath</a> are living their best lives after deciding to end their marriage in 2022. </p>
<p id=”par-17_13″>“Personally, I’ve changed through the process of this divorce,” a smiling Barry says. </p>
<p id=”par-18_29″>“The last couple of months have really been a time of transition,” Kim tells a producer. “I’m real sure that Barry hasn’t loosened up as much as I have.”</p>
