Celebrity Traitors – dubbed the TV moment of the year – is officially under way, with the Traitors already claiming their first Faithful victim.
The BBC reality series, which has now had three civilian seasons, features more than a dozen contestants competing for a massive cash prize.
Players build up a cash pot via various tasks while three Traitors hide among the Faithful ranks, aiming to trick and even ‘murder’ their way to the mega jackpot.
This being the celebrity version, the cash pot is for charity and some of the famous faces are friends, but that hasn’t stopped the betrayals and subterfuge thus far.
After the second episode ended on an almighty cliffhanger, fans are already eager to find out when they can tune back into the juicy action.
Find out when the next episode of Celebrity Traitors is on the BBC, how many episodes there will be in total, and who’s already faced the chop on so far.
How many episodes of Celebrity Traitors are there?

In total, there will be nine episodes of the Celebrity Traitors, with the final episode yet to have been given a confirmed release date by the BBC.

This will make it three episodes shorter than the first season of the civilian Traitors series, which had 22 contestants and released 12 episodes between November and December 2022.
The second season of the civilian Traitors also ran for 12 episodes, with 8.03 million people tuning in to watch the dramatic finale as Harry chose money over Mollie.
The most recent civilian season, which aired earlier this year in January, also had 12 episodes and received a peak viewership of 9.91 million people for the finale.
In the Celebrity Traitors version of the series, only 19 contestants entered the Highlands castle compared to the 22 who began each edition of the civilian version.
When does the next episode of Celebrity Traitors air?

The next episode of the Celebrity Traitors will air on Wednesday, October 15 at 9pm on BBC One, almost a full week after the second episode.
In the most recent episode, the three Traitors, comprised of Alan Carr, Johnathan Ross, and Cat Burns, elected to make their first murder and remove a Faithful from the competition.
Things got hotter at the roundtable as the cast battled over whether Sir Stephen Fry’s theory about Niko Omilana being a Traitor was true or if Kate Garraway was a snake in the grass.
But the episode cut to black before we found out whether Niko or Kate was banished by the Faithfuls, leaving viewers begging for more and anticipating the next episode.
What days is Celebrity Traitors on?

The first episode of the Celebrity Traitors was broadcast on Wednesday, October 8, before the second episode followed it up on Thursday, October 9.
Episode three will be broadcast on Wednesday, October 15, meaning fans have to wait six days to find out if Niko survives potential banishment.
Then, episode four will go out Thursday, October 16, before fans have to wait another six days until episode five is unveiled on Wednesday, October 22 and episode six is aired on Thursday, October 23.
The last stretch then begins with episode seven on October 29, before the penultimate episode airs on October 30. A final ninth episode has not yet had its airdate confirmed.
Who has been eliminated on Celebrity Traitors so far?

So far, only Paloma Faith has been removed from the show after being murdered by the Traitors following the events of the first two episodes.
In the season premiere, Alan Carr had to cover his hands in ‘poison’ before secretly touching Paloma’s face in order to confirm her as the Traitors’ selection for murder.
Paloma’s ‘death’ wasn’t confirmed until the second episode, however, when she was placed in a coffin during a challenge and literally carried off the show.
It looked as though Niko was about to join her on the list of departures, but the second episode ended before viewers found out whether he survived or not.
Catch up with The Celebrity Traitors on BBC iPlayer. Watch episode three on Wednesday, October 15.
