Celebrity chef Bobby Flay recently confirmed his new romance with his Food Network co-star, Brooke Williamson. The pair were friends and colleagues for years, but that dynamic suddenly changed last year. Here’s what we know about Flay’s new girlfriend.
Bobby Flay’s New Girlfriend is an Award-Winning Chef
Williamson is an acclaimed chef and cookbook author from Los Angeles who made her TV debut in 2012 when she appeared on “Top Chef” season 10. She was the runner-up that year, but then she returned five years later and won the reality competition.
After her victory, Williamson went on to appear in several cooking shows, either as a contestant or a judge. She won Guy Fieri’s “Tournament of Champions” in 2020 before appearing as a judge on “24 in 24,” “Chopped,” and “Guy’s Grocery Games.”
The 46-year-old also appeared on “Beat Bobby Flay” and then became his co-star on “Bobby’s Triple Threat.” She released her first cookbook in November 2024 titled “Sun-Kissed Cooking — Vegetables Front and Center.”
The ‘Top Chef’ Winner Went Through a Divorce in 2024
Williamson split from her ex-husband and fellow chef Nick Roberts two years ago, and their divorce was finalized in 2024. The former couple met in the early 2000s in a kitchen in Brentwood, California. They later married and welcomed a son named Hudson, who is now 17.
Williamson and Roberts opened several Los Angeles restaurants before their breakup, including Hudson House, The Tripel, Tripli-Kit, and Da Kikokiko.Â
During her marriage, Williamson was friends with the 60-year-old Flay since they ran in the same celebrity chef circles. However, it wasn’t until her divorce was final that things turned romantic between them.
“They have been friends for a while and recently decided to jump in,” a source told People. “Her divorce last year probably gave them some additional shared experiences and over the last few weeks, love bloomed.”

In early April, Williamson was honored at the No Kid Hungry Dinner in Los Angeles, along with actor Jeff Bridges. The theme of the event was “Restoring hope: Feeding Kids in the Wake of the LA Wildfires,” and Flay showed his support in a big way by flying in to surprise his new love.
According to an insider, Flay’s gesture was “very sweet. Williamson’s Instagram lit up with photos from the event, which she captioned “best night ever.”
The couple also attended a New York Knicks game against the Phoenix Suns at Madison Square Garden on April 2. Then in May, they attended the Kentucky Derby together at Churchill Downs in Louisville.Â
