<p id=”par-1_54″>It’s that time of year again when the U.K. marks the British monarch’s official birthday with a celebration known as Trooping the Colour. The event will feature hundreds of officers, horses, and musicians from the Household Division in ceremonial uniform. And several members of <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/royal-family/?swcfpc=1″>the royal family</a> of course will be in attendance. </p>
<p id=”par-2_61″>Leading up to the Trooping the Colour in 2024, there were questions about whether the Princess of Wales (<a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/dont-be-fooled-this-is-what-kate-middleton-was-really-like-in-school.html/”>formerly known as Kate Middleton</a>) would attend amid her bout with cancer. She did, and the princess is now cancer-free but many fans are wondering if she and <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/prince-william/?swcfpc=1″>Prince William</a>‘s three children will make an appearance on the <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/rodents-and-asbestos-are-a-few-reasons-some-royals-dislike-buckingham-palace.html/?swcfpc=1″>Buckingham Palace</a> balcony this year. </p>

<p id=”par-4_24″>The Palace has not yet confirmed who will be in attendance, but sources told <a href=”https://www.express.co.uk/news/royal/2067623/royal-family-trooping-the-colour” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Express</a> that this year’s event will “mirror last year’s.” </p>
<p id=”par-5_65″>That means that joining <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/king-charles/?swcfpc=1″>King Charles</a> and Queen Camilla on the balcony will be: Princess Anne and her husband, Sir Timothy Laurence; Prince Edward and his wife, the Duchess of Edinburgh (<a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/queen-elizabeth-ii-refused-give-prince-edwards-wife-sophie-wanted-wedding-day.html/”>formerly Sophie, Countess of Wessex</a>); the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester; the Duke of Kent; as well as the Prince and Princess of Wales and their kids, <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/prince-george/?swcfpc=1″>Prince George</a>; <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/princess-charlotte/?swcfpc=1″>Princess Charlotte</a>; and <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/prince-louis?swcfpc=1″>Prince Louis</a>. </p>
