WWE fans were worried after Michin took a painful looking tumble face first into a steel chair.

The SmackDown wrestler, whose is also known by her stage name Mia Yim, fought rising superstar Jaida Parker in a brutal Street Fight on this week’s episode of NXT.

Both women went all out for the violent match, with kendo sticks, chairs and more weapons coming into play as they delivered a true spectacle for viewers.

However, one moment in particular left fans terrified as they were served a reminder of how fine the line is for wrestlers when it comes to suffering a potentially nasty injury.

Michin went for a dive through the ropes to the outside, with Jaida moving out of the way, leaving her opponent to crash face first into a chair set up at ringside.

The 35-year-old star faceplanted the seat of the metal object, and fans were left worried she had caused herself some serious damage.

‘This is the scariest bump I’ve seen in a hot second. I’d be so scared to bust my friggen teeth. Good for Mia Yim. what a BOSS,’ wrote @daisystone24 on X, while @ashrelm added: ‘That could have gone real bad real fast.’

‘Michin’s teeth ate that steel chair. My God! #WWENXT,’ tweeted wrestling website @Fightful, as fan @_thehyan admitted: ‘I audibly GASPED I hope she’s okay 🙏🏽’

Another viewer, @HiLiteLife’, was also hoping Michin was ‘alright after that’, while @ultrafoxes ‘thought she broke her damn face’.

‘I love and respect everything she does but MAN does she stress me out,’ admitted @twerksforpizza as others voiced their concern, although WWE star Shotzi was full of praise.

She tweeted: ‘Another reason I would love to tag with @MiaYim she matches my freak.’

Michin voiced her approval, and has been sharing clips from the match – including the scary incident – with no mention of a serious injury, so fans will be hoping that’s a promising sign.

She has been pulling double duty in recent weeks, featuring heavily on NXT and even battling Kelani Jordan for the Women’s North American Championship on June 18.

Just three days later, she faced off with Bianca Belair and Chelsea Green in a Money In The Bank Qualifier, with Chelsea winning.

She will compete in this weekend’s MITB Ladder Match alongside Iyo Sky, Lyra Valkyria, Tiffany Stratton, Naomi and Zoey Stark.

Meanwhile, the men’s match includes Jey Uso, Andrade, Chad Gable, Drew McIntyre, LA Knight and Carmelo Hayes.

The winner of their respective bouts will earn the Money In The Bank briefcase, which comes with a contract guaranteeing the holder a world title match at any point over the next 12 months.

Money In The Bank (July 6) and NXT Heatwave (July 7) both air this weekend at 1am live on the WWE Network.
