The biggest party of the summer is here – WWE SummerSlam is upon us.
For the first time ever, the iconic premium live event follows in the footsteps of WrestleMania as it becomes its own two night extravaganza, hailing from MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
Across the weekend, nine championships will be on the line, plus an epic six-team Tables, Ladders & Chairs match 25 years after the first official TLC match at SummerSlam 2000.
There are some dream matches being served up at the event, which also includes John Cena’s final appearance under the SummerSlam banner as his retirement quickly approaches.
The likes of CM Punk, Rhea Ripley, Naomi and Jacob Fatu are all in action across the two nights, with plenty potential show-stealers on paper.

Heading into SummerSlam, WWE has a stacker roster with some huge names holding championship gold.
At the top of the Raw roster, GUNTHER is World Heavyweight Champion while Naomi holds the Women’s World Title, with SmackDown’s WWE Championship represented by John Cena while Tiffany Stratton as WWE Women’s Champion.
Dropping down to the men’s and women’s Intercontinental Titles, Dominik Mysterio and Becky Lynch have the gold, with the United States Championships in the hands of Solo Sikoa and Giulia.

In the tag ranks, Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and JD McDonagh are on top for Raw, while Wyatt Sicks members Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis have been dominating the division on SmackDown.
Meanwhile, with Liv Morgan out injured, Roxanne Perez has replaced her as Women’s Tag Team Champion alongside Raquel Rodriguez.
Even though they’ve not got a title round their waist, there are plenty more huge names currently working for WWE, including CM Punk, Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, Jacob Fatu, Cody Rhodes and more.
