The bag’s structured yet versatile design adds a touch of luxury without being ostentatious, aligning seamlessly with her signature understated sophistication.”</p>

<p id=”par-6_33″>According to the publication, “The royal is said to own approximately 110 bags consisting of 80 clutches, 15 top-handle bags, cross-bodies, totes, and satchels in a collection that’s reportedly worth upwards of $315,000.”</p>
<p id=”par-7_64″>“For most mere mortals 110 bags sounds like a huge amount, but if you consider that the princess attends upwards of 100 public engagements a year, it’s not actually that ridiculous,” fashion expert Amber Graafland said, adding, “Kate knows that she needs a few timeless clutch bags and top handle day bags in her arsenal. Having carefully chosen timeless designs, she wears them on repeat.”</p>
<p id=”par-8_37″>It’s believed that one of her favorites is a Mulberry Bayswater wallet, which she has carried to over 60 engagements. Still, with all those handbags, Kate doesn’t have nearly as many as <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/queen-elizabeth-ii/?swcfpc=1″>Queen Elizabeth II</a> had. </p>

Author Marcia Moody<a href=”https://www.express.co.uk/news/royal/1146633/kate-middleton-news-duchess-cambridge-prince-william-style-secrets-inside-handbag-spt” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”> shared in her book</a> <em>Kate: A Biography</em> that the mom-of-three keeps just four items in her handbag.</p>
<p id=”par-11_14″>“She carries a compact mirror, blotting paper, a handkerchief, and lip balm,” Moody wrote.</p>
<p id=”par-12_58″>It’s understandable that Kate wouldn’t lug around some of the items the rest of us do as she doesn’t need her wallet or keys when she’s attending an engagement. She also doesn’t have to bring her cell phone since she can’t actually text or call the nanny to check on her kids while she’s at a royal event.</p>
