Zoe Ball has reportedly upped sticks and moved from her mansion in Sussex to Brighton.

In 2020 the DJ, 53, purchased a 1920s six-bed sprawling Sussex pad which featured a swimming pool, tennis courts, and acres of land.

However, Zoe has apparently made a big change and traded in her mansion life and opted for a townhouse between Brighton and Hove.

Reports have suggested that the star wanted to be closer to her ex-husband, DJ Norman Cook aka Fatboy Slim, with whom she shared two children aged 24 and 14.

‘Zoe obviously got fed up with life in the country and wanted to move to somewhere a bit more lively.’

‘She has become really engrossed in making her house just as she wants it and has been happily ordering furniture and buying bits and bobs to make it perfect,’ a source told Mail Online.

The star purchased her Sussex home in 2020 for £2,025,000 and it’s thought that she wanted a change after splitting from her former partner Michael Reed last year after five-and-a-half years together.

Zoe and Norman separated in 2016 and divorced officially in 2020. The couple married in 1999 and have a son, Woody Fred Cook (born 2000), and a daughter, Nelly (born 2010).

Although they separated several years ago, Zoe has frequently shared images of them with their children, showing they are still close co-parents.

In fact, Zoe was snapped with her ex-husband and children just a few days ago as they went to a cafe in Hove with a large group of friends.

Fans were delighted to see Zoe out and about, after concern was sparked by her absence from her BBC show.

The popular presenter last appeared on the Breakfast Show on August 8 and her absence sparked concern from fans who wondered where the radio personality had gone.

In an exclusive statement to MailOnline, Zoe’s son Woody said he was happy to see his mother smile following recent struggles and her mother’s passing from cancer in April this year.

‘My mum and I like to keep our private lives to ourselves,’ Woody said. ‘But I will say I have spent a lot more time with her recently, as she has always been there for me in tough times. I’m glad to see her smiling.’

BBC schedules indicate that he beloved presenter will return to the airwaves on Monday September 23.
