A bizarre Christmas accident has left Zoe Ball’s daughter in hospital after spending time at dad Fatboy Slim’s home.
Nell, 14, ended up in A&E needing an X-ray after her famous father accidentally dropped a Christmas tree on her foot.
Zoe revealed the injury this morning to her Radio 2 Breakfast listeners, having recently returned to the station after her unexplained absence earlier this year.
The 53-year-old presenter is leaving the show on December 20 to ‘focus on family’, with Scott Mills, 51, announced as her official replacement.
‘Sending love to my Nell today,’ she said on the accident. ‘It was supposed to be her last day of school today.
‘But sadly, her dad unintentionally dropped a Christmas Tree on her foot and she had to go to A&E yesterday!’

Zoe is mum to Nell and Woody, 23, co-parenting with ex-husband Fatboy Slim who she met in 1997 and married two years later.
The pair split in 2016 but have continued to be good friends and are often seen at events supporting their children together.
‘She had an X-ray but it’s okay, it’s just swollen,’ Zoe continued, confirming there was no permanent damage from her teenager’s injury.
‘She’s going to be alright, but she was supposed to go ice skating with her friends from school today but she won’t be able to get her foot in a boot.
‘The things you don’t think are going to happen!’
Last month the BBC star shared she had been going through her own health issues, suffering with temporomandibular joint disorder – a dysfunction which causes pain and tenderness in jaw joints.

She revealed most days she wakes up with ‘awful headaches’ from ‘tension and jaw clenching’.
In her parting statement – confirming her last show will be on December December 20 – Zoe did say she would still be part of the Radio 2 family, so wasn’t exiting the station entirely.
‘After six incredible years on the Radio 2 Breakfast Show, it’s time for me to step away from the very early mornings and focus on family. It’s been a privilege,’ she said.
‘I think the world of you listeners and I’m grateful to my bosses here for their support, especially this year.
‘Huge thanks go to my awesome team on the show, Tina, Mike and Richie, and of course our listeners, with whom I’ve shared some of life’s highs and lows, the good, the bad and the daft times.’
