On June 10, the Emilia Pérez star made the Elio world premiere all about family, stepping out with her three sons for a rare (and seriously adorable) public moment.

Zoe Saldaña’s Sons Make a Rare Appearance in Coordinated Outfits

Saldaña looked every bit the proud mom as she posed with her sons—twins Bowie and Cy, 10, and Zen, 8—outside El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles.

It was a special night for the family, and the boys brought their charm to the carpet, twinning in matching navy suit jackets, white dress shirts, jeans, and tennis shoes.

Their long, beachy waves—a style that channels dad Marco Perego Saldaña—added to the cuteness. It was a rare family moment that fans don’t often get to see.

Zoe Saldaña Brings Bold Color and Retro Glam to the Red Carpet

While her sons kept it classic, Zoe opted for a vibrant red-carpet glam look. She wore a form-fitting mustard yellow pencil skirt paired with a clay-colored turtleneck blouse that featured subtle ’80s vibes, thanks to padded shoulders and billowy sleeves.

She kept things elegant and grounded with tan pointy-toe heels, while her golden-highlighted tendrils, loose updo, and bold red lipstick added softness and flair. Gold hoops and taupe eyeshadow tied everything together with understated polish.

Zoe Saldaña Says Her Elio Role Earned Her Major Mom Cred

Zoe lends her voice to Olga Solis in Disney’s Elio, and it’s safe to say the role is a hit at home. “Since becoming a parent, incorporating what I do—my art—into a genre that caters to children has always been a great interest to me,” Saldaña said during a June 4 interview on Good Morning America.

“And I get to relate to them, and I also get some mad cool points as a mom.” Her son Zen, in particular, has been counting down the days to Elio’s release: “My 8-year-old cannot wait for Elio to come out,” she shared.

Zoe Saldaña Says Her Family Is Slowing Down This Summer

While walking the red carpet, Zoe opened up about how parenting is shifting as her kids grow up—and how that’s affecting summer plans.

“Usually our summers are always spent traveling, and traveling around work and traveling in general,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “This summer, they were very adamant about staying home.”

Zoe said her boys are growing into their voices—and they’re making their wishes clear:

“Now they’re getting older and they’re not just little briefcases that you can take around with you. They have their own opinions, they make their own decisions, and they are very much about, ‘This is what we want. We want soccer. We want music. We want playdates, but we want to be home.’ So we’re going to do that.”

At the 2025 Oscars, Zoe Saldaña earned Best Supporting Actress honors for her role in Emilia Pérez. Following the win, she told PEOPLE that she’s looking forward to spending her downtime focused on family life.

“When the moment everything was over, I just really just wanted to go back home and just take my kids to school and be a little more present in their lives because they took this leap of faith with me — my whole family did — and I wanted to catch up on this time,” she admitted. “It’s through their eyes that I’m able to understand the impact of being recognized for this [and] what it means for us and for anybody. It’s just so great.”

Mark your calendars—Elio lands in theaters June 20.
