One person was killed and a second was injured in a shooting in the Five Points neighborhood early Saturday morning, according to the Denver Police Department.
Officers were called to a shooting in the 1000 block of North Lincoln Street at 3:15 a.m. and found one person with serious injuries and another with a minor injury, officials said.
The person with serious injuries was later pronounced dead and the shooting is being investigated as a homicide, police said at 8:30 a.m. in a post on X.
No information about a suspect or the person who died was immediately available.
