A man was killed and another wounded in a shooting Tuesday in the Humboldt Park neighborhood.
The victims, ages 28 and 35, were standing outside about 11:45 a.m. in the 600 block of North Monticello Avenue when four gunmen exited a gray car and opened fire, Chicago police said.
The younger man suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his head and body. He was pronounced dead at Stroger Hospital, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. His name hasn’t been released.
The other man was shot three times and was listed in serious condition at Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
No one is in custody, and Area 4 detectives are investigating.
