1 killed, 2 wounded in shooting at Calumet Park

One person was killed and two others critically wounded after a shooting during a fight Thursday evening at Calumet Park on the Far South Side.

The three victims were arguing with someone who pulled out a gun and fired shots around 6:30 p.m. at the park in the 9900 block of South Crilly Drive, Chicago police said.

A man, 25, suffered a gunshot wound to the back and was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, where he died, police said.

Two other men, both 26, were shot multiple times and listed in critical condition. One of them was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center and the other to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said.

A firearm was found at the scene, police said. No arrests were reported.
