Four people, including a 13-year-old girl, were wounded in a shooting in Back of the Yards on Monday night, Chicago police said.
Officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 1500 block of West 51st Street about 8:28 p.m. and found four victims inside a business. They told police they were inside when shots were fired and the windows shattered, police said.
A 29-year-old man who was shot in the neck was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition; a 48-year-old woman was shot in her left arm. She was also taken to U of C in good condition, police said.
A 13-year-old girl who was shot in the lower back was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital in fair condition, police said. A 57-year-old woman who was shot in the right hand was taken to St. Bernard Hospital.
No one is in custody.
