Two children were arrested on suspicion of stealing tens of thousands of dollars worth of the highly sought-after Labubu dolls from the Chino warehouse they worked at, police announced on Tuesday.
On Monday, August 4, officers responded to a burglary at USE Logistics located at 15097 Van Vliet Avenue in Chino, according to a Chino Police Department news release. An investigation showed two suspects, later identified as employees, staging multiple boxes full of Labubu dolls on July 31, 2025. The suspects returned multiple times between August 1 and August 3 after business hours to collect the staged dolls. The business lost $40,000 worth of merchandise, it estimated.
The suspects and the vehicles used in the burglaries were identified in the business’ security camera footage. Chino Police Department detectives later identified the suspects as two juveniles.
On Friday, detectives served a search warrant at an Upland home connected with one of the suspects, who initially tried to flee. About $30,000 worth of Labubu dolls were found at the residence, police said. The second suspect was arrested in Ontario on Tuesday. Both juvenile suspects have been booked for burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary, according to officials.
The stolen Labubus have since been returned to their owners.
