LOS ANGELES — Two people were shot to death and a third was reported wounded Saturday in the Manchester Square area of South Los Angeles.
The shooting was reported at 6:24 p.m. Saturday at Florence and Dalton avenues, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Jeff Lee told City News Service.
Two victims were pronounced dead at the scene, Lee said. Video from above on NBC4 showed two white canopies in an alley.
A perimeter search was underway for the suspect or suspects, Lee said. A helicopter was overhead and officers had sealed off the area.
No suspect information was immediately available.
