Two men were killed in separate shootings two hours apart Thursday morning on the city’s Southwest Side and West Side.
Most recently, a 54-year-old man was found shot outside about 8:20 a.m. in the 3900 block of West 86th Street in Ashburn. suffering from gunshot wounds to the body, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Earlier, at 6:15 a.m. in the 3900 block of West Flournoy Street in Garfield Park, a 19-year-old man was getting into his car when several assailants armed with guns left a blue car, confronted and shot him, police said.
The gunmen fled and the 19-year-old was pronounced dead at Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
No one was in custody as area detectives investigated both homicides.
