Earlier, a 19-year-old man was getting into his car at 6:15 a.m. in the 3900 block of West Flournoy Street in Garfield Park when several assailants armed with guns climbed out of a blue car, confronted the man and then shot him, police said.
The gunmen fled. The man was pronounced dead at Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
