Two people were shot in Hyde Park on Sunday night, Chicago police said.
The two men, 44 and 45, were on the sidewalk in the 5600 block of South Dorchester at 7:30 p.m. when two people got out of a vehicle and shot them, police said.
The elder man was shot in the shoulder and was in fair condition, and the younger man was shot in the leg and abdomen and was in serious condition; both were taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, police said.
No one is in custody.
