A man was killed and another was injured in a shooting Saturday morning in the Humboldt Park neighborhood.
The men were traveling in a red Dodge Charger around 5:20 a.m. in the 4400 block of West Augusta Boulevard when they were struck by gunfire that caused them to crash the car, Chicago police said.
A 37-year-old man was shot in the back while another man, 29, was struck in the head, police said. Both men were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital.
The older man was pronounced dead, police said. His name hasn’t been released.
No arrests were made.
