Two women were wounded in a shooting Tuesday night in North Lawndale on the West Side.
The two women, 49 and 36, were outside in the 4100 block of West 19th Street just after 11 p.m. when a gunman approached them and opened fire, Chicago police said.
The older woman was shot in the left thigh and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.
The younger woman was shot twice in the ankle and was taken to the same hospital where she was also in good condition, officials said.
No one was in custody.
Area 4 detectives are investigating.
