A 14-year-old boy and another person were shot and wounded Thursday in Douglass Park on Chicago’s West Side.
The boy and a man, whose age wasn’t known, were at the park about 7 p.m. in the 1400 block of South Sacramento Drive when someone approached them and fired shots, Chicago police said.
The boy was shot in the neck, and the other person was shot in the back. Both were taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, police said.
No one is in custody and Area 4 detectives are investigating.
