A 2-year-old girl was abducted during a South Side home invasion Wednesday morning on the South Side.
Around 4:50 a.m., three armed offenders, including a woman known to the residents, broke into the home in the 4800 block of South Michigan Avenue and took 2-year-old Attumn Shelley, with a Nissan SUV and other items, Chicago police said.
They then fled with Attumn in the stolen SUV, police said.
The incident appears to be domestic and no injuries were reported.
The toddler has brown hair, a light brown complexion and is Black, according to a missing persons alert from Chicago police.
No one was in custody as Area 1 detectives continue to investigate.
