A 2-year-old and a woman were shot in Greater Grand Crossing, according to Chicago police.
The woman, 30, and boy, 2, were in a vehicle in the 6900 block of South Lafayette Avenue at 7:36 p.m. when shots were fired, police said.
The child was shot in the foot and taken to Comer Children’s Hospital, and the woman was shot in her knee and taken to University of Chicago Medical Center; both were listed in good condition.
No one is in custody.
