A 24-year-old man is in critical condition after a shooting early Sunday in Lawndale.
The man was standing outside about 12:25 a.m. in the 1800 block of South Karlov when someone in a white sport-utility vehicle shot him, according to police.
The man was hit in the chest and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, police said.
No one was in custody as Area 4 detectives investigate.
