Three people were killed in a car crash early Sunday on the Dan Ryan Expressway at the Interstate 57 split, according to Illinois State Police.
The crash happened about 1:50 a.m. in the expressway’s southbound lanes, according to state police. Lanes were closed and traffic was diverted to 95th Street until reopening about 7:30 a.m.
There were no immediate details on how the crash happened or who the victims were, police said.
