Three teenagers were shot and wounded Friday afternoon near a high school on the Near West Side.
The teens were standing on a sidewalk about 2:45 p.m. in the 200 block of South Hoyne Avenue when someone fired shots, Chicago police said.
A 16-year-old boy was listed in serious condition with a gunshot wound to his lower back, and a boy and girl, both 15, each were shot in their leg and listed in good condition, police said.
All three victims were taken to Stroger Hospital.
The shooting happened around the corner from Chicago Bulls College Prep High School, 2040 W. Adams St. The school had dismissed classes about an hour before the shooting.
No one is in custody, and Area 3 detectives are investigating.
