The capture of a Texas mother suspected of killing her young son marked the fourth apprehension this year of a suspect on the FBI’s list of 10 most wanted fugitives.

The notably busy year for turnover on the list has seen these changes:

Arrested

• Donald Eugene Fields II, 61. St. Louis man indicted on child sex charges. Arrested Jan. 25 in Lady Lake, Fla., after a routine traffic stop.

• Arnoldo Jimenez, 43. Wanted for the 2012 murder of his wife, found dead in their Illinois apartment the day after their wedding. Arrested Jan. 30 in Mexico.

• Francisco Javier Roman-Bardales, 47. Alleged MS-13 leader indicted on charges related to drugs, terrorism and racketeering. Added in February, caught March 17 in Mexico.

• Cindy Rodriguez Singh, 40. She was added to the list in July after she left the country amid the investigation into the disappearance of one of her children, who hadn’t been seen since 2022. She was taken into custody in India on Aug. 21. Rodriguez Singh is one of 12 women to have ever been on the list. Arguably the most famous is Angela Davis, the former UCLA professor who was on the list for two months in 1970 after guns that she had purchased were used in a bloody kidnapping from a Marin County courtroom.

Added

• Fausto Isidro Meza-Flores, 43, wanted on drug crimes. Added to the list Feb. 4.

• Ryan Wedding, 43, an Olympic snowboarder (Team Canada, 2002) suspected of international cocaine trafficking. Added to the list March 6.

• Giovanni Vicente Mosquera Serrano, 37, a leader of the Tren de Aragua gang, wanted on suspicion of drug crimes and terrorism. Added to the list May 24.

The six others

Because Rodriguez Singh has not yet been replaced, there are nine fugitives currently on the list. Besides the three above, they are:

• Alejandro Rosales Castillo, 26. Charged in the murder of his former girlfriend in North Carolina when he was 17.

• Wilver Villegas-Palomino, 43. Suspected narcoterrorist.

• Bhadreshkumar Chetanbhai Patel, 35. Wanted in the 2015 murder of his wife in a Maryland doughnut shop.

• Ruja Ignatova, 45. Allegedly ran a scam that defrauded billions of dollars from people who thought they were investing in cryptocurrency.

• Omar Alexander Cardenas, 30. Allegedly murdered a man in 2019 at a Sylmar shopping center.

• Yulan Adonay Archaga Carias, 43. Alleged MS-13 gang member wanted on drug and weapons charges.

Removed

These two men are among 15 in the list’s 75-year history to be removed because they no longer “fit the criteria for inclusion on the list.”

• Alexis Flores, 50. He is a suspect in the kidnapping and murder of a 5-year-old Philadelphia girl in 2000. On the list from June 2007 to March 2025.

• Vitel’Homme Innocent, 39. Gang leader suspected in the 2021 kidnapping of 17 missionaries in Haiti. On the list from November 2023 to July 2025.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation established the “Ten Most Wanted Fugitives” program in 1950 to publicize “particularly dangerous fugitives who might not otherwise merit nationwide attention.” Since its inception, 537 people have been on the list; 498 have been captured.
