4 wounded in drive-by shooting on West Side

A 16-year-old boy and three others were wounded in a drive-by shooting Friday night in Lawndale on the West Side.

They were standing outside in the 600 block of South Homan Avenue about 9:05 p.m. when a dark SUV drove by and someone from inside opened fire, Chicago police said.

The teen boy was struck in the leg and was taken in critical condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.

A man, 26, was shot in the chest and abdomen and was also taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition. Another man, 23, was struck in the ankle and was taken in good condition to the same hospital.

A fourth man, 24, was struck in the leg and buttocks and was taken in critical condition to Stroger Hospital, police said.

No arrests have been made.
