Police are seeking the driver of a vehicle that hit a 4-year-old boy and a man and ran away Sunday night in West Ridge on the Northwest Side.
Around 9:40 p.m., the two were crossing the street in the 2700 block of West Peterson Avenue when the gray vehicle hit them as they were in the crosswalk, Chicago police said.
The driver of the vehicle then fled on foot, officials said.
The boy was taken to Swedish Hospital where he was in fair condition, police said. The man was taken to Saint Francis Hospital where he was also in fair condition.
No one was in custody.
