A 6-month-old girl was killed in Englewood on Saturday night, Chicago police said.
Kloe Sophia Bastos Bastillos was found unresponsive about 11 p.m. in the 7200 block of South Winchester Avenue, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office. She was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
Her death was ruled a homicide, according to the medical examiner. She suffered from “multiple injuries,” and the medical examiner listed “child abuse” as one of the causes of her death.
No one is in custody.
