What began as one of the most badass and horrifying space-movie franchises ever has seemed more like an afterthought in recent years. Until now. “Alien: Earth” debuts this week on Hulu and FX and if drooling, terrifying space aliens that are mad as heck for no apparent reason are your thing — you gotta tune in.
2 PLAY & TASTE: A saucy contest in San Jose
One of the South Bay’s most sumptuous contests returns on Sunday. Yes, the Boss of the Sauce tomato sauce contest is returning to San Jose’s Little Italy on Aug. 17. Eight restaurants are competing and here’s how you can watch (and of course sample some of the contestants.)
