OK, the trio of historic Dead & Co. shows in Golden Gate Park have long since sold out, but there are still a lot of things to do and eat in the Bay Area this weekend. So let’s get to it, shall we?

1 SEE & HEAR: Great shows are all over
From a new musical about Michael Jackson to colorful (and adorable) art from Masako Miki, there is a lot to see and hear in the Bay Area this weekend.
2 WATCH: A riveting new body-horror movie
“Together” stars Palo Alto native Dave Franco and Alison Brie, a real-life married couple, as a, um, a couple stuck (literally) in a bad marriage. Sounds crazy, maybe, but you won’t be able to turn away.

3 DINE: A new Indian-Asian fusion restaurant
WC Kitchen & Bar recently opened in Walnut Creek (WC, get it?) where the popular Opa used to be. Stop on in for the lollipop lamb chops and maybe a lavender lemon drop.
4 PLAY & SIP: Meet Milli
It’s always fun to check out a new coffee shop, and this cafe in Millbrae (Milli, get it?) has tons of tasty coffee drinks plus other tempting offerings. Matchaffogato, anyone?

5 SEE & HEAR: An opera about a labor icon
West Edge Opera in Oakland has a history of selecting compelling if lesser-known works to perform. This time the company is presenting a world premiere opera about labor leader Dolores Huerta.
6 GRILL & SIP: Don’t forget the beer
No, we’re not talking about supping while you sear, we’re talking about making beer one of your grilling ingredients.
7 PLAY: A new ‘Ninja’ classic
The beloved “Ninja Gaiden” video game franchise has needed a new chapter for a while now. And now it’s here — say hello to “Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound.”
