A 7-year-old boy was shot inside a home Thursday in Humboldt Park.
The boy was in a residence about 7 p.m. in the 3200 block of West Division Street when he suffered a gunshot wound to his left arm, according to preliminary information from Chicago police.
He was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, police said.
A weapon was recovered at the scene, police said. Authorities did not release further details.
No arrests have been made.
Earlier Thursday, a 15-year-old boy was shot less than a mile away in the same neighborhood in the 1100 block of North Ridgeway.
