Adolf Hitler had genetic disorder that can result in a micro-penis

The tune ‘Hitler has only got one ball’ could well be true, new research has discovered.

The song mocking the Nazi dictator was coined during the Second World War to lift the spirits of the Allied soldiers with lyrics covering Goring’s ‘two but very small’ balls, while ‘Goebbels has no balls at all.’

However, an upcoming Channel 4 documentary, ‘Hitler’s DNA: Blueprint Of A Dictator’ has found that it might have been more than just war propaganda.

By analysing a piece of Hitler’s DNA, researchers found that Hitler had Kallmann Syndrome.

The inherited genetic disorder may prevent puberty and sexual development, and cause a small penis and testicles, low testosterone, infertility and low sex drive.

Hitler never had children, and speculation persists about his sexuality.

Dr Alex Kay, a historian at Potsdam University in Germany, told the documentary: ‘No one has ever really been able to explain why Hitler was so uncomfortable around women throughout his life, or why he probably never entered into intimate relations with women.

‘But now we know that he had Kallmann Syndrome, this could be the answer we’ve been looking for.

‘Hitler clearly goes very much against this in not having any kind of family, in not having children, in not being married.’

He said Hitler’s image as a strongman only serving his country suggests it was convenient for him due to Kallmann syndrome.

Hitler and his wife Eva Braun had a 14-year relationship before getting married 40 hours before committing suicide together on April 30, 1945.

Most of Hitler’s medical records and personal life have remained a mystery, adding to the rumours that the antisemitic dictator, whose regime killed six million Jewish people, may have had Jewish ancestry.

His secrets may have never been uncovered if an American soldier had not cut a piece off a bloodied sofa where Hitler killed himself and preserved the morbid souvenir.

DNA analysis debunked Hitler’s Jewish ancestry and rumours that he was an illegitimate child after the sample was compared with a male-line relative.

The persistent misconception that Hitler was Jewish emerged already in 1920s and 1930s, and it is thought to have been started by his political opponents in Germany to discredit him due to his openly antisemitic politics.

Dan Chambersa creative director at Blink Films, said: ‘For 80 years, there has been lots of speculation about Hitler’s medical and psychiatric conditions. Now, by looking into his DNA for the first time in history, we’re able to reveal a whole series of things – some that we might have expected, others that are really surprising.’
