The suspicious death of an Alabama woman found inside a West Loop apartment Wednesday night has been ruled a homicide.
Kristina Romandine, 33, died of a gunshot wound to the head and her death was ruled a homicide, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Just before 8 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to a call of service at the home in the 1500 block of West Warren Boulevard and found Romandine unresponsive with trauma to her head, Chicago police said.
Romandine, of Bay Minette, Alabama, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Area 3 detectives were investigating.
