The warning was issued over its Ashfields 30 Day Matured Thin Cut Beef Steaks because it contains milk, due to a packaging mistake.
The Food Standards Agency said: ‘This product contains milk, making it a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.’
Aldi wrote in the recall notice: ‘We apologise that this product did not meet our normal high standards and thank you for your co-operation.’

The supermarket has also issued a notice to customers explaining why the product is being recalled and telling them what to do if they bought it.
Packs weighing 360g with a use-by date of October 26 should be avoided, the FSA said.
Accidental exposure poses serious risks for those with allergies, making accurate food labelling essential.

It comes after Aldi issued a similar recall warning this weekend for a range of its custard tarts because they may have contained hazelnuts, sesame and soya, which were not mentioned on the label.
The FSA wrote: ‘If you have bought the above product and have an allergy or intolerance listed above do not eat it. Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.’
Aldi’s recalls this weekend come days after it also pulled 500ml Gianni’s Cheeky Monkey Ice Cream because it contains wheat, which isn’t mentioned on the label.
