Angel City Football Club announced it has mutually terminated Sara Doorsoun’s contract.
Doorsoun joined Angel City in July from Eintracht Frankfurt and was signed through the 2026 season. Doorsun has returned to Germany and rejoined Eintracht Frankfurt through 2028.
“We sincerely appreciate Sara’s contributions during her time at Angel City,” Angel City sporting director Mark Parsons said. “She is an experienced professional and a great person. We wish her all the best in her next chapter.”
Doorsoun made eight appearances for Angel City.
The move leaves Angel City’s current active roster at just 18 players. The move does open an international roster slot.
Angel City has also seen Hannah Stamburgh (Boston Legacy), Miyabi Moriya (Utah Royals) and Madison Hammond (Utah Royals) depart through free agency.
