LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Angel City FC conceded a goal to Sarah Weber in the 66th minute, losing 1-0 to Racing Louisville on Saturday night at Lynn Family Stadium.
The moment came when Emma Sears forced a turnover deep in Angel City’s end and drove a low cross that Weber redirected past Anderson for the winner.
Despite controlling long stretches, Angel City couldn’t turn possession into chances, finishing with two shots on target to Louisville’s four while holding 63.2% of the ball. Keeper Angelina Anderson made three saves.
Angel City fell to 6-6-10 (24 points). Louisville improved to 8-5-9 (29).
